How long before they get along?

On Wednesday I put 25 7 week old pulletts in the coop with 17 15 week old pulletts. The first night only a few big girls went around pecking at the little ones.
I placed a couple of boxes and a trash can in the coop for the little ones to hide behind. Last night when the big girls came in for the night, a few of them were more aggressive. Today one of the little ones came out in the run and again only a few of them chased her around. I put back inside because they would not let her get to water outside.
Can any tell about how long should it take before they start getting along?

Thanks in advance for you help.

I'm not sure. It's frustrating. My 20 week old flock still harasses my 15 week old pullet and rooster, chasing them away from food and water..

That's a big age/size difference. They'll probably bicker and fight until the little ones are closer in size, I'd guess a full month or so.

The adjustment can take a while especially with that age difference. Make sure there are enough feeders and waterers that the smaller chicks get to eat and drink.
