We just moved to a new house a week ago and have moved the chickens (includes 13 laying hens) into their new larger coop.
They seem to love the coop and the new bugs to eat out on the acreage; however, they're not laying any eggs!

We're down to 2 eggs this morning and will be forced to go to Walmart to buy eggs.

I put eggs in a few of the nestboxes to give 'em a hint, but it's not working.

I NEED EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!! How long will I have to wait?? Should I keep a light on inside the coop just long enough to get 'em going??

Not having eggs to eat really sucks!

Can't really say, maybe a week, maybe a month. With colder weather and shorter days arriving egg production always drops a little anyway. Give them time to adjust... things are still new for them and a move always needs time for adjustment. As for store bought eggs I agree with you....YUCK!!

I moved mine into a new space not to long ago and they stopped laying for about two weeks I think after they got use to bein in the new area it started with just one and as each day went the rest followed...I would just give them time
