How long between?

Ok I posted the other day that my buffs laid one soft shell egg. That was 4 days ago. Does anyone have a guess as to when my free loading chickens will lay again?

They are 22 weeks and yesterday I got a hard egg from one so I'm waiting on the second one now.

I have a 26 week old that hasn't laid yet. She is taking her time.

I had one soft shell egg and I've been feeding oyster shell on the side, but my SS who laid the softie, won't eat the oyster shell on her own. I mix the powdery part of the oyster shell and put it into wet mash.

You'll get a steady egg production soon. It takes a couple-few weeks before their bodies are use to laying. My RIR just laid 11 eggs in a row and I'm worried about her laying too often.
