How long can an incubator run non stop for ?

I have an incubator that has been running non stop for about 6 weeks no and I would like to know if it is safe to keep running it or if I should give it a break and if I do how long of a break ?

Good question. I have no knowledgeable info. I would ASSUME that a heating element is going to burn out after an x number of hours of use regardless of wether they are continuous or sporadic. I would THINK that a break wouldn't hurt, but if you are using it constantly it will burn out quicker timewise but not necessarily quicker usage wise, if that made any sense. (It did in my head, but that's a scary place...lol)
