how long can bobwhite quails lay for?

I have two pairs of bobwhite and they are in their second season and they have laid at least 200 eggs in the first. Can I expect another good season out of them?

They Lay Until They Die..... For Whatever Reason.

Laying Rates Decrease Slowly With Age, But Fertility Remains.

Thanks. They have started back up again but only every second day sort of...I am testing the eggs for fertility at the moment but I think I have managed to "fry" them as they have little blood rings when I candled them last night....Will try again with another batch.

correction...the eggs are growing as I could spot some blood veins growing. Just as well I didin't take the eggs out from the incubator and they are all fertile...

couldn't see the embryo though but then it is still early I guess. This is only the 6th day when i candled it last night...
