How long can it take for hens to accept a younger rooster?

Yeah hoping hes more polite than our last roo. He was a rough one lol. Looking forward to seeing how he does come spring.

Not yellow lol It's taking everything in me to wait to see his real personality before naming him. Trying to resist naming him the first name I thought seeing him, Casanova XD

Also my girls take a month every time, to accept any new roosters or hens. But especially roosters- they whoop them! However he got better looking and they submiteed

Yeah I've kinda fallen into calling him Casanova. I was calling him pretty boy but it just started slipping so thats his name now lmao. And theres been squabbles and hes not hanging out by himself in the extended run during feeding much anymore so thats good. Hes moving on up.. I heard him crow yesterday it was oddly so much deeper than our first roo. I thought at first it was like a coyote behind me lol But nope just Casanova.

After they start to crow, the process is quicker. For me, it was 2 weeks of being chased and attacked by hens, a week of crowing and then the next week, he chased them a bit. After a successful mating he started to be accepted and he is liked now- apparently 'most' of the time. The top hen approved him
