how long chickens need to be out side the coop

So when do you need a rooster and why would you need one
The simplest answer to this is solely when one wishes to have fertilized eggs from their own hens for the purposes of hatching. There are other reasons some folks keep a rooster around, but the only reason that one actually "needs" a rooster is fertility in their own hens (worded that way because one can also get hatching eggs from other sources as long as the desired outcome is not hatching the eggs of their own female birds).
