How long do bantams live?

About how long do they live (excluding predators)....what is a normal life expectancy for a bantam chicken?

We have some Japanese bantams that are 7-10 years old that free range on our property. They are pretty tough little guys too as far as tending to themselves and their babies !!

Thing is, that is a question that really can't be answered. Some are going to live a long time, and some are not.

One of them is a rooster and has become sick. He has a pale comb, acts very weakly and only eats when I bring him in the warmth inside my house. I kept him 3 days inside my house until he began excessively defecating on the pellet stove and the living room started smelling really bad so on the 4th day I decided to put him back in his coop with his bantam hen. I will keep bringing him back inside for the night till monday then I am afraid I will have to bring him inside only few hours during the day because I can't keep doing this forever. If he dies I will bury him under a tree in the orchard of my garden with some stones on top of his grave.
