How long do chickens molt for and what does it look like?

wanna see molt???? here ya go! (this is my polish tina at the moment.)

it also looks like maggots are eating the back of her head, but its actually like balls of white feathers growing.
 
This morning I watched my gold laced cochin try to peck my polish on the head and my polish stood up very straight and y’all and stared her down. The cochin physically shrunk down in front of her. I was so proud of my polish!!
i raised my polish as the oldest (actually like 6 years older (i got her from a neighbor) than the rest of my 9 chicks.... she is the boss that way! i don't have to worry about her!
 
Generally yes, 'lorps were developed to be more productive, orps may be a bit friendlier but more easily bullied.
I would say that my 'lorps are more friendly (towards humans) than my orps, in fact, my half australorp half white leghorn is the friendliest and most affection chick I have! Both of my 'orps and 'lorps seem to hold their own in my flock at about the middle.

There's your sign. Breed traits describe generalities. Every bird is an individual.
