How long do duck eggs take?

I put some in this morning.... If I waited they would have gone bad, so I took a chance and put them in the bator. How long do they take?

Most duck eggs take 28 days - call ducks about 26 days and muscovies take about 35 days

I put one in the bator last week to see if my boy really was able to do his thing. He's only 5 1/2 mos so I wasn't sure. I couldn't stand it so I candled it Friday and have some veining.

This will be an interesting combination. He's Khaki Campbell/Rouen and the hen is Blue Swedish.

My duck eggs (Swedish) seem to show veining very early, around 5 days. For some reason waiting 21 days for chicken eggs seems like a breeze compared to the 28 that ducks take. That last week passes by SOOOOOOOOO slowly!!!
