how long do ducks live?

I just got ducks this past june. i was wondering, what is the average life span for ducks?

I heard from muscovies that were 8-10 years old.

My beloved pet Muscovy Ethel is 6 years old and is very healthy and loves life. However, she doesn't lay eggs anymore. I hope I am blessed to have a few more years with her.
