How long do I keep her in the crate to reintroduce?

I would wait to introduce her until she stops limping. The other chickens might bully her and peck at her even though they grew up together

I guess if the limping really isn't improving quickly then you really don't have a choice. Just put her back in tonight and watch her for a few minutes to make sure everything will go smoothly. My chicken also has a limp and one of the bigger chickens picks on her, so I was worried about yours.

It definitely helped me get some perspective. If I try to put her with the flock now I'm pretty sure they're going to gang up on her. So I think I'm going to give it several more days at least, with maybe limited supervised interactions like I did today. Then maybe next weekend I'll sneak her on the roost and cross my fingers.

It's just so sad! Chickens have such tiny little brains! My dogs can recognize people they haven't seen in years, but my chickens can't remember someone they knew last week!
- Based on what you have just told me about the whole pecking order thing, she might be able to fend for herself, but just in case, I would put her in the coop a few times a day with supervision so the others can get used to seeing her and being around her. Mostly keep her inside though. I would suggest putting her in full-time when you feel most comfortable with it.

- Chickens are very strange creatures

and I don't think their memory is very good.
