How long do they stay broody?

I had a BO sitting on eggs for a little over a week. Yesterday afternoon she left the nest and wasn't back in there this morning either. By this evening, she was sitting in another nest box on three eggs that had been laid today. By tonight, all the eggs were very cold. I opened them up and 13 of the 14 were viable. I cried. Will she sit on the new eggs until they hatch now? If not, shall I pull them so they don't become half baked chicks? Thanks for the help.

She just got confused and sat on the wrong nest after she took her break. I have a Cochin who does the same thing sometimes. You could have just moved her back onto the correct nest. To prevent that from happening again move her and her nest to a location away from any other next boxes. She should sit until they hatch.
