Color me jealous, sitting here in long johns and the heater sounding like a turbo jet engine!

Yeah, and in another month I'll be jealous of y'alls temps! Another month and we will most likely be pushing mid to upper 90's.

At 4 AM it was 29F. Has now dropped to 14 at 12:30 PM. Wind is screaming, don't care about chill factor. It's just cold.

Here we go again... not much trust in these storm forecasts at this point. They roll in, then seem to fizzle.

The beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies are deceptive. They make today particularly dangerous for people with a bad case of cabin fever. It's likely to lure out those who really should stay inside.
The "not as harsh next week" comment at the end is heartening, though. We're expected to get up to the mid 30's for a few days and may even (GASP!) hit 40! Is that even possible?
