how long do turkeys live

    i have a turkey that is atleast 5 years old is that normal because i heard they are to be living for only two years

    [​IMG] Glad you joined us. No personal experience with turkeys and only 1.5 yrs with chickens.

    But read the record is 12 years and average is 2-3 years for domestic turkeys.

    Why don't you post the question under the turkey forum and bet you'll get real experienced info.

    i don't know if this will help but wild turkeys live 10-12 years if not eaten so being domestic probably 6-9 years
