I bought 80+ jumbo corturnix eggs and set them in bator 17 days ago, and nothing happened until yesterday, so I almost gave up.
And today... voila! 19 chicks came out all of a sudden within 2-3 hours around noon!
I am wondering how long can I leave chicks in bator? Just like chickens? (2 days)
It is very exciting to hatch quail eggs

You could leave them in for a day or two but more then likely (unless there is food & water in there) they will all be dead. As soon as they are dry I would pull them out or take a group out that has dried. I think the sooner they have food & water the better.

agreed, do NOT leave them a day or two in the incubator. After they hatch, let them dry and the move them to brooder..usually about 3-4 hours after hatch. That's what I do. I let them hatch..then let them dry off and then place them in my brooder set at 99F....then lower the temp 5 degrees each week until 4 weeks, then out to the outdoor pens.

I usually set my eggs at night, so they usually start hatching at night. I will remove any hatched chicks around noon, then again before bed. Then just repeat until there are no chicks left to remove
