How long does hatching process take?

It probably doesn't hurt it's probably more uncomfortable, but because its in the foot, you shouldn't give him any pain medications. Please get some Vitamin B complete, he will need that Vitamin B has niacin in which baby ducks need so all your babies can drink it. Plus Vitamin b is great for leg issues..
That is what brewers yeast has in it too, if you have any of that.

That looks really good though. You are saving his life. Hopefully he will want to sleep and leave it on for awhile.
Thanks, after having him out all day so he wouldn't get stressed beig along i moved him to his own little brooder and as long as i'm nearby he's okay. After it slipped off just a little bit it's staying just fine now so i can breathe :p
This is the sweetest duck i've had in this batch so i'm glad i can do something

The splint is doing wonders, but he won't walk on the leg. I can get him to sit on it where it looks normal but then you let him go and he tucks it back behind!

Give him about 24 hours to two days. That's all he should need, come on little dude work with us... If after two days check on it, if he still curls it then you will need to do it again for about 5 days. But two days should work if he's already putting the leg in front of him and laying on it...
