How long does hatching process take?

just read this whole thread! thank goodness we have people like @Lacrystol who are so helpful! I have three calls in the incubator now, doing my best to make sure the humidity and everything is correct and learning from others' mistakes. this will be my billionth hatch and still learning!!

Hay how’s your hatching! Calls are a tab bit difficult. I just hatched out 12. Lost quite a few in my last hatching. The dry versus didn’t go so well for me. I think it depends on the weather as well as a number of other things that can go wrong.

I had 3 in lockdown and had to assist all of them as they never externally pipped. I followed Pyxis' article for assisting and let them push themselves out when ready. They were all set a day a part and hatched a day a part, the last one just came a out this morning and the other two are spunky little things! I have pictures in da cute and cuddly call duck thread.
