I know the broad breasted varieties of turkeys get large/eating size in about 4 - 5 months, but I haven't seen any time tables on any heritage breeds.

Next year we are wanting to get some Bronze BBs for early eating, and get some heritage as well, such as a Naragansett or Royal Palm, for a uber tastey thanksgiving.

Any ideas on how long I would have to raise the heritage breeds?

It depends on the heritage breed and how you feed/raise them for the year. The smaller breeds Midget white, Beltsville White will be ready sooner than a larger bird

We like ours in the 8 to 10 month range as they are more filled out.
