How long does it take a newly hatched peachick to stand?

My peachick has been hatched for 2 hours. It’s has been laying on it’s side and back and will kick every couple of minutes. I’ve never hatched peafowl before. Is this normal?

It takes them a while. Do you have them on a nonslip surface?
It's absolutely critical that you do. Peachicks can get splayed leg and other problems.

Thank you for the reply. I still have it in the incubator. NutureRight 360. The other egg hasn’t finished hatching.

If it is laying on its side and kicking it is probably stuck to the floor. You need to right it and prop it up so it can gain its balance.

The guy I bought their parents from till me to turn it on its stomach. I did and it’s attempting to walk and supporting it’s head.
