How long does it take blackjack 57 to dry?

Hello,
I used blackjack 57 on my wooden coop floor and am wondering how long it takes to dry? It's still sticky after 2 days? I'm getting worried as the wood was expensive and I cannot afford to replace it. Plus my chicks need to go outside but I cannot put them in the coop with the blackjack still wet.

4-8 hours for mostly cured, 7-14 days for full cure.

I don't know how you feel about it, but if you need to get it to be not sticky fast, you could coat it in some sand.....thin layer and then brush off whatever doesn't stick. Like making it a non-slip floor.

Sounds like it wasn't properly stirred. You REALLY have to stir this stuff WELL. If not, it will never really dry. Should be dry within 24hrs, unless it's cold and rainy.

Yeah, that is another factor. Don't know what the weather has been in NC, but the spec sheet is assuming 70 degrees and only 50% humidity.

O no, geeze, I spent so much time painting that thick stuff on. It was a pain in the rear. Frustrating. I mixed it till my arm hurt than took a break and mixed it till my arm hurt again. Half of it is dry. I put a fan on it hoping that will help. I hope it's just because I haven't cut any ventilation into the coop yet but did leave the door open. I guess if it's still sticky tomorrow I will put some play sand on top like was suggested above. Thanks for that btw! I was really thinking this was going to work out for the better and hopefully it will. Just a bit discouraging after all that work. Tonight is their first night outside I rigged a shelter up for them under my raised coop. It's supposed to be 63 here tonight. I'm worried to death. But they like it so much outside and they are getting messy plus I have baby's on the way from cackle.

Sticky but not wet? Like if you walk on it dirt will stick, but the black Jack stays put? If that's the case I would keep the door open and the fan going, to help cure it. I personally wouldn't put sand on it, just let it cure naturally.
I let mine cure for 7 days and it was good to go.(I did 2 coats) I did have my 4 windows and the door open while it was curing. Our temps this week should be good for it to dry.

How old are your chicks? Mine have been outside with no heat for a week and a half. They're 5 weeks old today. Has been as low as 45 here and I worried, too, but the chicks are fine.

It's sticky but stays in place. Like if I accidentally lean against it my skin sticks to it. I hope it cures. I've never worked with blackjack or the sort before and it's a different character than paint completely. I'll keep my fan on it and hope it cures. Maybe it's just taking longer because I haven't added ventilation yet and the breeze has been against back of the coop for a couple days so it wasent blowing on the blackjack AT ALL. It does have me worried a bit but I'm good at worrying anyways.

I needed to hear that right now as I'm up at 12 checking on them and worrying. Thanks. Mine are about 4 or maybe even 5 weeks old. I did not give them heat but built a makeshift shelter with shavings under my lifted coop. Im probably worrying too much. It's my nature. I'm also probably coddling them too much also but it's my first set of chicks hopefully with experience it will get better.

You should be fine then, just keep the door open and let it cure for 7 days.
