How long does it take for Banties to lay?

I have two they are about 5 months old now, when can I expect to find some eggs?

very soon...............I have 2 RIRS banties, they started laying at about 5/6 months.
fyi. they are 1/2 the size of all my other hens and they are at the top of the pecking order.....so funny

I'm glad you asked this because I was wondering the same thing...I have a bantie that is any where from 17 weeks to 21 weeks( the lady I got her from wasn't sure exactally).. Her comb has been extremely red for about a week.. I am hoping for an egg soon!!

My Banties are never messed with but they are not on top of the pecking order, that would be my little squatty white cochin.

Aww mine banties don't have red combs, they're still a pink color.
