Granny's gone and done it again

Really! Unusual color!
yes, chocolate. Best dog ever. Never had to train her for anything. She healed w/o being shown what that even meant. Went outside once and showed her what to do out there and she never messed the house. She would even run out there to puke.

Sounds like your life is starting to come back together.. :clap
Finally. It seemed to take forever. The only down thing today was me getting into it with my pharmacy. Refilled my pain medicine last month on the 15th. I was supposed to see the doctor tomorrow but they called on Friday and asked to reschedule me for November as my doc was taking some time off. I told them okay but I needed my pain meds. They faxed an order over but I hadn't heard anything from them. So last month I had to call 3 times to get them to mail them out. They refilled it on Monday the 15th but I didn't get them until 6 days later as they kept saying they would get them mailed out that day but never did. So when I called to day they informed me that they couldn't mail them out until the 18th. I asked why and was told they couldn't refill it until 30 days to the day that I received last months RX. Say what? Went around and around with them but the little piece of useless belly button lint was adamant. So I am just as adamant when I say I will take it up with my doctor when I see him.

Frankly I think the world is turning into a pus filled ball and I'm just waiting for it to explode.

But yeah, today otherwise was a great day.

Oh no worries I find it funny too. They bring it on themselves. If they didn't stick their nose where it didn't belong they wouldn't have a problem. Jenny just barely let out a tiny yelp. Sammy hollered and ran in the house. But Ryder really let out a yell. I think maybe Jenny just sniffed the eggs so got a tiny jolt and the other two might have either licked or tried to pick up an egg. Wish I had a camera!
Hot wires are worth their cost in entertainment content.

Years ago our first cattle dog a blue heeler would tear out the fencing across the front yard and stage escapes. So we put a single strand of hot wire across the front of the property about 6 inches off the ground. I was out taking care of the chickens and saw Dingo standing by the fence. Next thing I knew he was screaming like somebody had shot him and running to the house at warp 8. I found him hiding under the utility sink in the shop. I don't think he touched it with his nose. That wasn't his habit. I think he peed against it. What was weird is that he did the same thing at our Illinois home when we were commuting. We let him out early one morning and he barely had time to get to the back yard fence before he ran screaming back to the house. Couldn't get him to go out for a couple of weeks unless we took him out on a leash.

So now I just have the chicken run hot wired. Varn, our short round little red heeler marched up to the fence and touched it with his nose. Yep, screaming back to the house but to this day he makes a wide circle around that coop and run. He learned that day that those chickens in that pen bite HARD.

Going to bed here guys. Have a great night.
