How long does it take for the external temperature to reach the embryo?

Right now it's running 96-98. Neither is optimal but neither should be damaging either. I'm thinking of how to raise the temperature just a bit in order to push the 96 up to 99 and 98 to 101. Probably going to try a towel

If it's only day 3, I don't think any damage was done. Eggs are pretty hardy and can hatch under a variety of conditions. I'd just regulate the temp from here on out, you should have the desired temp at this point.
