Have 1 egg that pipped around 8:30 this morning. Had a 2nd one around 11 am. The 2nd seems to be doing well. The 1st is rocking but no further progress. And the other 10 have done nothing. I hear cheeping but see nothing?

After the external pip, it could take up to 24 hours before zipping. When they externally pip, that is when they start to absorb the yoke sack. After that has happened, they have a very little bit more room to move around inside of the egg. This is when the zipping starts. But just to externally pip wears them out.

Thank you Baralak. I will stop worrying so much than. Thanks again

Hang in there terri ive got 2 eggs that pipped about the same time and they are doing the same as yours. Hang in there chicken buddy
