Hi! I have a Royal Palm that I got as a day old poult on May 20, and she/he was yellow when I brought it home, and now, it is white and has just started getting some of the black markings. So I would say the black accent colors should start coming in around 5 weeks.

ty mine also yellow then all white all most amonth so ill keep waiting for color

I had one this year color up real good at two weeks. I never had one that young with color. I have also had them take as long as 10 weeks. Somewhre between those extremes is more common.

If you don't have some black pretty soon, I'd start to wonder if they are royal palms. Last year one of my palms that I ordered turned out to be a midget white. It happens.
