I have a sweet girl named Twiggy. She's one of 6 babies we got end of February. She's about 11 weeks and weighs a little under 1 lb. She's always been the smallest hence the name Twiggy because her legs look like twigs lol.
Anyways out a week ago I saw one of her eyes was bubbling and she was acting lethargic and barely eating. I separated her and treated her with some electrolytes and a quiet spot with lots of food and water. He appetite came back and she's eating well. Her poop is normal too.
About 3 days ago she keeps her eye shut and she has so much clear drainage that when I check on her in the morning her whole side is wet. I started treating her with Tylan 50 .25mg 3 times a day orally. Today is day 3 and her eye maybe looks a little less swollen but she isn't opening it and today her other eye is looking a little squinty. She shakes her head a lot and opens her mouth wide every few minutes. Should I have of seen improvements by now? How else could I be helping her. I checked her eye and I couldn't see any foreign object inside. I flush it daily just in case.
