Hobbychick, did you get your humidity to go higher or end up leaving it? I am just starting day 19 and having issues getting it to stay at or above 63%. Just wondering if that is high enough?
Congrats on your hatch!

My humidity has been between 60-65 and everything has been going ok. Not fast enough!!!

If one has hatched already and the others have pipped and not done anything in 24 hrs, if you are pretty desparate to have some chicks I would take the ones that are pipped and carefully break some of the shell away, only above the pip, don't pick away below the pip. Use a warm spray bottle to mist the chicks, the membranes are probably very dry and the chicks can't move inside to turn and zip.

One of the two pipped last night and was out early this morning, the second pipped mid day and was out around 7pm. First day of spring chickens!
Gytha this morning and Aida this evening, two BB Red Bantam hens.
