Been raising chickens and various other poultry for over 11 years now, exhibition poultry for about 5 years now. Started out going to my first show with a little Crele Oegb hen as a jr, since then my flock has more than doubled in number and the shows went from 2 a year to 8 or more a year from ky, ga, nc and of course those here in tn. Chickens get very addicitve

one year- close to two though! the only reason it's two years is that we only have two chickens... only have had two chickens... and they are almost two years old!

Mine will be 4 months old on November 27, and I'll have had them for 4 months on the 29.

I love them so much! Who needs TV when you have chickens??

Hi everyone,
I'm from Lilydale in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia
I've had 3 chickens for 1 year now and they are sooooo good at laying eggs, usually 3 a day occationally only 2 but not very often.
I started out with 3 Iso browns but unfortunately I was late putting them away one night and Mr. Fox got one.
I then got a black chook. They said it would not lay as well but I have had no problems.
I think she likes to keep up with the others, she is so competitive!
and so beautiful with the emerald grenn reflexions off her black feathers.
