How long have you left your chickens alone?

What about asking a neighbor to check on the chicks everyday. You'll have a better trip & peace of mind knowing that someone has atleast gone by & checked on them. That's what I did & everything worked out fine.

If they have access to food and water and safety from predators, why can't you leave for several days or even indefinitely? Would you be able to have someone check on them once a day to make sure there's no problems or water shortages?
