How Long is it safe to leave chicks in Incubator

How long is it safe to leave my bob chicks in the incubator before moving them to the brooder. I fear my last batch suffered because I was taking them out when they were dry because I was afraid they needed to eat and drink...please help.

As soon as they dry off.They still feed off from yolk for 3 days after hatching,so feed is not an issue.I would believe that the yolk would also provide enough moister so immediate water shouldn't be an issue either,but take them out as soon as they dry and have feed and water available so if they decide they do need them,it is there.
