My 14 month old BO went broody yesterday for the first time. We don't have a rooster so I am looking to get fertile eggs to give her to hatch. Assuming she doesn't break her broodiness herself, how long can I wait before giving her eggs to sit on?

I had the same problem but I found out over a week and a half would be pushing it. Within a week is a safe time period that she will most likely hatch

I wouldn't go over a week. Sometimes after the average 21-day incubation period, their instincts tell them to get off the nest, whether anything has hatched or not. In my opinion, the sooner you can get her eggs the better.
