How long is too long for a broody hen to sit on eggs before they are no longer good to eat?

I have a broody hen that had been sitting on eggs laid by other chickens during the day. I didn't get home until 6:00 pm to collect the eggs. She could have been sitting on the eggs for 6 hours or so . Do you think the eggs are still good?

Yeah, six hours shouldn't matter. It is when they've been incubated for a day or two that you don't want to eat them any more.
