how long should a broody set on her eggs?

My broody silkie is on day 22. I have one chick from yesterday, doing fine. So my question is: how long should I give the other 4 eggs before tossing them?

I would give them 2 more days.

I agree, a couple more days won't hurt. Just make sure momma and chick have access to food and water if you can!
