How long should I keep it up?

She doesn't seem to be getting any better, she chirps non stop for hours and I hate the thought of her suffering. Her toes are curling more despite the vitamins.
I have no idea how to put a chick down. Don't think I can hold it down and chop its head off.

I think you know that her prognosis is not good. Every day longer that you delay putting her down, is an other difficult day of suffering for her, and an other difficult emotional day for you. If you want help with "easy" regarding euthanizing a chick, PM me. It's never really easy to put a chick down, but... it's better to euthanize a failure to thrive chick than to allow her to suffer a slow lingering death.

Sad to say, but we did put her down
I know we were just prolonging her suffering, but I didn't want to give up until I tried my best. That was almost as hard as putting our 13 year old lab down.
I appreciate all the help and suggestions from everyone.
