Good advise. My problem with the scovies is they are nesting in the coop where my chickens have their nest boxes plus if you have never had muscovy you have no idea how hard it is to break them, They will hang on the hardware wire all day long if you close them out, so I just make sure they are taking care of themselves while they are obsessed with sitting lolIf you don't want babies then break them. Being broody takes a toll on the hens wellbeing and it's pointless if they won't hatch anything. Take away the fake eggs, destroy the nest, and if they still return to the nesting sites block it off. If you let them sit they may sit for the 28 days and longer which can cause health problems. They are also easy pickings for predators if they are not sitting in a protected coop or run.
