I don't really know what happened to my Serama hen (about one year old) but when I opened the coop I found her collapsed in the door way, when i lifted her up, her head was hanging so, like she'd died... Except she isn't dead. She can't stand but seemed to be trying to get around in the little box i put her in. I think she may have broken her neck maybe? Its what it looks like thats for sure! But she's still chirping away sadly. I guess what I need to know is how long should I wait incase its a strange illness come over her? I dont want her to suffer
Right now she's in a box with bedding, darkness, warmth and quiet. She seemed to shuffle over to the bit of food i put in ther and started pecking as best she could, but i dont know if she could swallow anyway
Help?
