How long should shipped eggs rest?

I always want to put them in the incubator right away.

I haven't hatched any since last summer and I just forget. Are you supposed to let them rest overnight before putting them into the incubator?

I usually let them set 12 hours.

I let mine rest 24 hours.

I used to let them sit 5 or 6 hours then tried 24 hours and had better hatches.
