I am on day 23 of incubating. 5 hatched within 24-hours of each other on day 20-21. Now nothing for 2 days. How long should i wait to shut the incubator off and throw away unhatched eggs?

I waited until day 25 and cracked them open. All 3 eggs had fully developed chickens, fully feathered and all? Any ideas what could have gone wrong?

45-50% during incubation. lockdown 65% My havabotor says 45-55% during incubation and 55-65% during lockdown. I definitely stayed within those levels. I don't know what happened, especialy considering there were 3 that didn't hatch.

Well my chicks just finished hatching been almost 5 days since the last one ( I have 4 ) so I had a plan to take out 1 a day so as not to upset the hen sitting on them if they were all gone. Candled it I knew it had something in it but I didn't see it moving and couldn't hear it.... but when I cracked it open it was still alive :( It was going to die so I had to put it to rest I didn't want it to suffer, poor thing I feel so bad.

I dont like it that high during incubation. I never have good hatch rates. I go about 20-30% during incubation then 60-70% during lockdown.

That stinks.....I am wondering if i should have left them in longer. All the chicks that were unhatched were definitely dead when i broke the shell.

Really....that low during incubation? What kind of incubator do you have, or does it matter? I would think following the instructions from the manufacturer would produce good results..but maybe not?
