Our chicks are 7 weeks now and we are currently feeding them the Chick Feed but I was wondering how long we feed them that until we begin layer feed?

I'm feeding grower until they lay their eggs, which is around 20 weeks. My chicks ages are 10-16 weeks old and I'm switching them to grower from medicated this weekend.

Our breeder told us to switch to layer feed at 16-18 weeks, which we did. Our first girl started laying at 18-19 weeks and our other girls are 21 weeks and close to laying.
