I have 6 eggs in the bator, put them in on the 23rd. I am still getting 1 or 2 eggs a day. How long can I keep the eggs before they have to go into the bator? I would like my second batch to be larger than this one of 6. Help????

For up to 10 days, after that the chances of hatching does down quickly

If I was saving my eggs for hatching, I would move them around everyday, just a little, so the yolk won't settle, just as I would if they were in the incubator. 10 days is what I hear from most people. I usually didn't wait that long. I usually went for a week, but that was because I always had a lot of hens when I was into all that and I didn't want to take the chance of the extra 3 days, but 10 should be fine.
