Here's the link to the thread I started last night about my silkie chick https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=509473
Basic summary, my approximately 1.5 week old silkie chick is sneezing intermittently, sounds congested (lower peep pitch), and has subtle rales (sounds like rice crispies, not too bad but I do hear a few crackles).
It was separated about 8 hours after I discovered the crackling in its breathing and it now inside with me. How long do I need to keep it separated if it survives this thing? How do I know it's better?
