I don't have any other chickens to integrate. It's pretty warm here, I can bring them in at night. I have a large dog crate that I was going to make into a brooding box. I can keep them on a table in the mudroom, there are windows there so they can see natural light, if that means anything.
I am expecting trouble from cats but my doggies should be willing to keep them away. I'm not going to leave the chicks out untill I asertain the doggies will not attempt to break into the run. They already consider it their "job" to chase away cats and squirrels, I'm not expecting unusual problems from them.
Still you have to be careful . . .
