So I have 13 eggs that I would like to put into my incubator, but if I put them in tonight they will be due to hatch on March 7th, but will most likely hatch the morning of March 8th. I am going away from March 6-8 for the weekend and I am only returning home on the evening of March 8. So the chicks could end up staying in the incubator for 12 14 hours, will they get dehydrated during this time frame?

Buttons need food and water within hours of hatching I would not leave them in the incubator more then a few hours. I remove them as soon as they get fluffy dry and just spritz the incubator to keep the humidity up, from opening the bator. Dont set your eggs for a few days just to be sure. How old are they? They should be good for up to 7 days being held at cool temps, like 55-65 F.
