I have an 8 month old Delaware who has been totally fine. Today, she has been in the nest box for at least 1.5-2 hours. It is past their "bedtime" but I have left the light on in the coop because she is in the nest box. Should I remove her? She looks like she is sleeping, but alert when I opened the nest box from the outside access door. Thanks.

No rooster, so eggs aren't going to be hatching. Also, have a chicken limit so I can't get eggs for her to hatch. I'm going to remover her now and see what happens.

Well, I gave her a little push and out she went. She went right to the oyster shell/egg shells and started eating those. She seems fine. Soon I'll turn the light off and hope for the best! Thanks for your help!
