How long to let eggs rest before putting in the bator?

I just got a second batch of eggs in the mail today. The first batch I rushed to the incubator only allowing them to rest for about 2 hours. How long should I wait this time?

You should put the eggs in the room that the incubator is going to be in and let them rest for 24hrs. Good luck!

6 to 24 hrs. Allowing them to come to room temp before putting them in the bator. I set mine in egg cartons this also helps the air sac to settle at the big end of the egg.

That sounds good! I will let them stay in the carton until tomorrow. I have them all in the carton with the big ends up. 18 blue, black and splash orpingtons with a few of my mutt eggs out of the yard...... Hoping for a good hatch!
