How long to pen new ducks?

I just bought 2 Pekin ducks to keep my single silver appleyard company. How long should i keep them penned up before i let them free range with all the other birds?

I would say....probably a week or so. That way they know where the feed is coming from. Thats what I did with mine...and they stayed around....untill a 2 legged predator found them, and then they were all gone. un

Starting over with 8 babies....that will NOT free roam.
