How long to separate mean chick?

Thanks for the replies! Still no change in behavior. She is still pecking some to the point of bleeding. Thankfully it’s only a few small scabs the others don’t seem to notice. I don’t want to just cull her if it is possible she’ll change her behavior but it also seems pretty cruel to keep her by herself and have her stressed out and miserable for a couple of days. It might be more humane. Ugh.

Do you have any scrap chicken wire? You can put it in the brooder to separate her from the others for a day or two and see if she calms down. You don't want to isolate her entirely or it could make the problem worse. This is how I separated an injured chick so that it was easier to reintroduce her to the flock.

I have the section on the right with hardware cloth across it so she can still see the others. She is going nuts pacing back and forth and cheeping.
