How long to wait for the complete hatch...

My welsummer is currently sitting on a batch of egg. It's day 23 two have hatched first one day 21 second day 22. There is still another three unhitched and I think not pipped. I don't want to disturb her.

How long should I wait before I should discard on the remaining eggs if they don't hatch.

Provided the hen has enough room, she will take the chicks that have hatched off the nest to find food and water when they need it. That's when you hatch is over.

Good news! I find the less I interfere with a broody, usually the better off I am. They know what they are doing a lot better than I do.

So that means three hatched on day 24? Others have reported they've had some hatch as late as Day 25, also under a broody. I've had some hatch a couple of days early under a broody. They are often not on time but it sounds like you got 5 out of 5, which is really good and worth the wait.
