So I have read through hours of information on here about worming my chickens and i am getting a little confused. i wormed my chickens on sunday night with Durvet Ivermectin pour on for cattle. i read on several forums that this was good to use. i chose to worm them because i found worms in some of there poop.
do i need to do another treatment of this stuff in a week? and do i need to toss the eggs, i read that some people don't throw them out. if i need to, for how long? i also noticed when we were worming them that several of them have missing feathers around there vent and below it. and the skin is really red. any thoughts on that. i would appreciate any input.

You repeat in 10 days as this gives the eggs time to hatch. You toss eggs for 21 days after the last dose of wormer.

The missing feathers is probably from others feather picking. There are a number of threads here on the subject. Their being wormy may be contributing to it, because the worms actually eat the feed, depriving the chicken. Feather picking is usually because of protein deficiency or too little space, or a combination.
